    Serpil Arslantaş

    “Chasing a dream…”

After eighteen years in business, Serpil Arslantaş chose a new direction at the height of her career. It was not merely a career change, but a decision to steer her experience toward a larger purpose. She was no longer only a successful entrepreneur, but part of a transformation focused on the planet’s future.

Born in Kayseri in 1977, she shaped a worldview rooted early on in her connection with people, culture, and nature. Studies in tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy launched a career across the service sector; she built deep experience in people management, operational excellence, and quality.

In 2006 she founded Erenege Strategic Research and Development Ltd., a milestone on her professional path. Through it she specialised in public incentives, investment planning, and strategic growth, supporting more than three hundred companies in their expansion. In cross-sector work she chose partners not only for economic success but for respect for human rights and production in harmony with nature. She wrote, spoke, and took an active role in civil society, treating the sharing of knowledge as a responsibility.

Throughout her life, stories of giving defined her journey. She grasped early what sharing, taking responsibility, and existing for others can mean. In 2013 she gave her brother a liver donation—a concrete expression of that outlook: not only saving a life, but showing that even what we hold most dear can be shared without hesitation. For her, giving is not an abstract idea but life itself.

In 2023 that experience found a new direction: she brought her full vision and expertise under the umbrella of the Yeryüzü Climate Action Foundation, which she founded.

Today, with professionals from many disciplines dedicated to climate work, she helps develop scalable models for adaptation and mitigation that hold up in practice. Pilot work in Antalya is turning sustainable agriculture, low-emission systems, and local livelihoods into integrated programmes on the ground.

Her work is not limited to field implementation. She plays an active part in advocacy and policy development so climate action can move forward on a fair, inclusive footing. The principle of leaving no one behind lies at the heart of that approach.

Through structures created within the foundation, she also works with the private sector, developing guidance for businesses facing growing sustainability and adaptation expectations.

For Serpil Arslantaş, climate is not only an environmental issue but a space for social transformation. Her story shows how an individual choice can grow into collective impact—and today it is an open invitation to everyone who wants to build that future together.
