Our foundation
Yeryüzü Climate Action Foundation is a civil society organisation that places people and the environment at its centre, working to protect and strengthen the right to live in a healthy environment. Guided by a “Green Transformation” vision that embraces all stakeholders in nature and society, we aim to foster individuals and institutions with strong environmental awareness that contribute to sustainable development.
Following circular economy principles, we work to prevent waste, reduce the loss of energy, materials, and land, and support sustainable management of natural resources. In this context, we encourage the spread of a Zero Waste approach across every area of life in our country and help build environmental sustainability.
By deepening harmony between people and nature, we strive for greener, nature-friendly, smart, and disaster-resilient cities for all stakeholders. Acting with the goal of planned, smart, and environmentally sensitive urbanisation, the foundation runs projects, research, and training programmes to create sustainable living spaces.
