Natural resources conservation
We work to protect the natural resources that sustain life on Earth and to leave a liveable planet for future generations. Sustainable stewardship of nature depends on safeguarding water, soil, forests, and biodiversity.
Forests
Forests are vital for carbon storage, oxygen production, the water cycle, and conserving biodiversity. We raise awareness and work in the field on forest protection, sustainable forest management, and combating deforestation.
Water resources
Water is the source of life. We develop projects on water saving, water management, and access to clean water to protect supplies, use them efficiently, and prevent pollution. Our aim is fair, sustainable water management for all.
Biodiversity
Biodiversity is the variety of life that keeps ecosystems in balance. We pursue science-based work to protect biodiversity, prevent habitat loss, and support ecosystem restoration.
Soil conservation
Soil underpins food production. We develop soil conservation strategies to counter erosion, contamination, and harmful practices, and we promote sustainable agriculture.
Ecosystem restoration
Restoring damaged ecosystems helps biodiversity recover and nature regain its balance. With local partners we implement projects in forests, wetlands, and coastal ecosystems.
